About

My work explores the similar and varied textures of dreams and memories. Moving between photography, sculpture and installation, I investigate the ways in which we change each other with our stories and the unexpected lives they take on in their retelling. The oral tradition connects the past to the present but it also erodes the barriers between direct and indirect experience. How can I bear witness to someone’s life through their memories? What then are my responsibilities as the beholder?

In my practice, I excavate stories from my own life that are real, imagined, told or forgotten.
